Description: Tetramisole is indicated for the treatment like Haemonchus sp, Ostertagia spp, Trichostrongylus spp, Nematodirus sp, Bunostomum spp, Oesophagostomum spp, Cooperia sp, Dictyocaulus sp, Ascaris suum, Strongyloides ransomi; Metastrongylus spp, Oesophagostomum sp, Ascaridia spp and Capillaria. Within 24 hours therapeutic blood levels are obtained. Tetramisole is mainly excreted in urine.
Indication: Tetramisole is intended for the treatment of different worm infection in cattle,swine and poultry; Dictiocaulosis, Haemonchosis, Bunostomosis, Oesophagostomiasis, Nematodirus, Cooperiosis, Strongyloidiasis, Ascaridosis, Oesophagostomiasis, Strongyloides, Trichocephalus, Metastrongilosis, Ascaridosis, Capillariasis, Heteracidosis and Singamoz.
Dosage: For oral administration: Cattle & sheep; 1 bolus per 30 kg body weight Swine; 1 bolus per 25 kg body weight Poultry; 1 bolus per 10 kg body weight
Side Effects: No undesirable effects are to be expected when the prescribed dosage regimen is followed.
Contra-indication: - Administration to infections. - Administration to last third period of gestation. - Administration to animal with an impaired liver function. - Administration to animal with an impaired renal function. - Concurrent administration of Pyrantel, Morantel or organ-phosphates.
Withdrawal Period: For meat; 10 days For milk; 4 days
